The Big Community Cancer Conversation

Community First and Macmillan Cancer Support are working together to improve support for people affected by cancer across Wiltshire.

We’d like to invite you to join the Big Community Cancer Conversation to explore and talk about the gaps in support in the county – what is working, what needs improving and how we can bring people and organisations together to find community-based solutions.

This event is part of Macmillan Cancer Connections, a project which has focused on listening to people across the county about their cancer experiences and mapping the support currently available. This event will be an opportunity to hear about the project, have your voice heard and to play a role in future decisions and plans around cancer.

Macmillan and Community First – working together to improve cancer support in Wiltshire.

Everyone is welcome

This event is open to anyone who has had a cancer experience or been affected by cancer, carers, healthcare professionals, organisations that offer services in the community . If you have ideas or opinions about how to improve cancer support in Wiltshire we’d love to hear from you.

Hear local voices. Join up support. Have your say.

This event is part of Macmillan Cancer Connections – a project that aims to understand how rural isolation can affect the experience and wellbeing of people living with cancer in Wiltshire. It is funded by Macmillan Cancer Support and delivered by Community First with support from Wiltshire Council, Dorothy House Hospice Care and NHS Wiltshire CCG.
