Wiltshire Portage Home Visitor – Tidworth Area (PAID Role)

 

Wiltshire Portage Requires a Portage Home Visitor – Tidworth Area, 24 Hours a week, 39 weeks a year (caseload of eight families)

Own Transport required, Minimum NVQ 3 childcare/Education and previous experience in working with children with difficulties and disabilities and their families.

Wiltshire Portage is committed to Safeguarding children and families. An enhanced DBS and checks will be undertaken.

Chippenham-based Volunteer Manager/Trainer (PAID Role)

 

Volunteer Manager/Trainer

Do you want to join an exciting new charity to make a difference to the lives of older people?

CHV volunteers befriend residents in care homes for older people to bring enjoyment of life and relieve loneliness and isolation. In Chippenham we have a thriving team of volunteers making a difference to the quality of life of older people in local care homes.

We are looking for an experienced volunteer coordinator, with an interest in adult social care, who will look after and develop our operations in Chippenham. The person will be responsible for recruiting and support of volunteers in the Chippenham area and for nurturing relationships with local care homes and other agencies.

This is a part-time role with flexible working hours which are likely not to exceed the equivalent of ten hours per week. Appointment will be on an engaged consultant basis. We can offer £20 per hour for a suitable person.

Kennet Furniture Refurbiz (VOLUNTEER Role)

 

KFR Vacancy: Chair Person

Could you lead us into the future? We are looking for a dedicated person with a senior management background who has an established network within Wiltshire/Swindon.

The chair will lead our board of Trustees and be responsible for supporting our Operations Manager. You will need to ensure that the Charity meets all of its statutory requirements and charitable obligations, together with our existing team of Trustees, who all have their own areas of expertise (including IT, Marketing, Finance, and HR & Operational Management).

KFR is an established Furniture and White Goods Charity based in Devizes, Wiltshire. We have been supporting Swindon and Wiltshire for over 20 years, collecting unwanted goods and making them available to low income households. We work in partnership with a number of charities such as SSAFA, Lions Clubs, as well as Wiltshire Council to support those most in need. Our goods of great quality and safe. In addition we offer a structured volunteering programme to support people seeking employment or who are isolated from their community.
