The Ages of Mankind

The Ages of Mankind
Yatton Keynell village had never had any outside recreational facilities.

Following a parish-wide questionnaire and with the help of a £20,400 grant from Viridor Credits they were able to install a children’s playground, Fitness Trim Trail, MUGA and Teen Shelter.

The facilities were designed and installed to be suitable for all ages and ability with an aim to bring the community together, enhance and develop people’s view of exercise, fun and enjoyment whilst providing a place to play, relax and enjoy each others company. It has become a well used and much appreciated part of the village.

Salisbury Cathedral

Salisbury Cathedral Conservation
An element of the major repair programme to Salisbury Cathedral was undertaken with the help of a £20,000 grant from Cleansing Services Group. The funding was able to help towards the repair and conservation of stonework and windows between the North and North East transepts of the Cathedral.

The conservation used materials sympathetic to those originally used and by recycling materials taken from other parts of the building in order to preserve it for future generations to use and enjoy.
