We are continuing to support towns and parishes to create their own community led plans and to update existing plans that now require revision.

A number of parishes have recently completed their parish plans and so the current number of active groups is around 26.

This includes a number of towns and parishes in the Wootton Bassett & Cricklade community area where the Wootton Bassett & Cricklade Area Board has encouraged the production of parish and town plans. Community First is providing additional support to communities in this area to provide co-ordination and enable the trialling of some new ways of supporting community led planning.
