Fit Together works with people who may otherwise not take part in sport. The partnership with Westlea Housing, Wiltshire NHS, Age UK Wiltshire and Wiltshire and Swindon Activity and Sports Partnership (WASP) and Community First has reached over 3,000 participants since the project began in 2008. It continues to reach "untapped" audiences and in the last year we have already worked with over 1200 participants and trained 350 leaders in various sports. In the last quarter alone we worked with 247 people over 55, 159 young people under 16 years and introduced 312 people to a new sporting activity. Some projects of note include: • The development of Nordic Walking • A multi-sports programme run for young people in danger of offending • A nine week intergenerational programme for young carers and their families, which supports families, who due to disabilities and ill health, would not otherwise be able to participate in physical activity together • The continuation of Footsteps to Fitness, a GP referral programme which targets the very inactive and run in partnership with Patford surgery • The development of a fishing programme delivered five fishing activities to young people • Delivered a bike maintenance course in association with Awards for All
