Looking to make a change? Then you’ve already taken the hardest step… Let us support you to achieve your health goals and maintain the change! The Wiltshire Health Trainers service has been designed to give individuals in the community the support and encouragement they need to lead a healthy and stress-free lifestyle. Funded by NHS Wiltshire and delivered by Community First the service was launched in 2010, it is a free service that can help you find ways of leading a healthier lifestyle and look at areas where you are tempted into unhealthy habits. The team currently consists for three Health Trainers who cover the areas of Tidworth, Larkhill and Bulford in the East of the county. More Health Trainers are planned for other communities later this year. During your first session you will talk about your needs and your Health Trainer will work with you to help you set your own goals. Together you will come up with an agreed action plan that is realistic and easy to follow and will be tailored to your individual needs. The Wiltshire Health Trainers service can help and support you in getting out and about and meeting new people. Even if it is something as simple as wanting to make new friends then Health Trainers can work with you to find a suitable group/activity that will enable you to become more social. |
