Community First provides proactive and expert advice and support to both social enterprise community shop groups and independent village shop keepers in Wiltshire and Swindon. Helping retailers improve and sustain the viability of their shops and assisting communities develop new social enterprise shops, cafes and solutions for communities who have lost their local facilities. Shops and Cafes are the beating heart of village life and without them the most vulnerable in our rural communities such as the elderly and people without access to transport can become increasingly isolated.
