Wheels to Work

Wiltshire Wheels to Work is a moped loan scheme for people aged 16+ living in Wiltshire.
Wiltshire Wheels to Work provides the following to individuals:
- A fully road-ready 50cc scooter* for up to 6 months
- Compulsory Basic Training (CBT)
- Breakdown cover
- Maintenance costs
- Jacket, gloves and lock
- Back-up support from Community First
- An opportunity to save via a Credit Union scheme towards the costs of your own means of getting around
(*Provisional or full driving licences are needed to ride a Wheels to Work moped)

IF YOU LIVE ON OR NEAR THE SALISBURY PLAIN AREA
If you are aged 16-64; you live on or near the Salisbury Plain Area and you are unable to get to work or work-based training then 'Making Tracks' is a charitable project which provides 50cc scooters to people living on or near Salisbury Plain who are unable to get to work or work-based training.

FOR WORK
If you are aged 16+, not living in or near Salisbury Plain, and you cannot access employment because of transport problems or if you have been offered a job but can't take it up because of transport problems or you may lose your job because there is no transport available to you then Wheels to Work is able to hire you a scooter for £40 per week.

FOR WORK EXPERIENCE
If you are aged 16-24 and are not currently in employment, education or training and you are looking to access some work experience then Wheels to Work may be able to help.

If you live in Wiltshire and consider yourself to have mental health needs or if you are currently receiving mental health day service support from Alabare Include, then Wheels to Work may be able to help.
