NALC Representatives Give Positive Feedback on Community Organising Training

by | Jul 17, 2018 | Community Development, News

Local Council members and representatives of the National Association of Local Councils (NALC) recently attended an introduction to Community Organising training, led by Community Organisers Ltd. Feedback from the session was very positive and some of the comments from Local Council members are captured in a video (see below).

Community Organising is the work of bringing people together to take action around their common concerns and overcome social injustice. Community organisers reach out and listen, connect and motivate people to build their collective power.

One of the NALC representatives who attended the training said:

“I found the community organising training really interesting, it was rooted in evidence and experience and it has given me a huge amount that I can take back to my community. I’m really looking forward to knocking on doors and listening…”
