Community Organisers and The National Academy of Community Organising are delighted to announce the 2,000th Learner to enrol in training as part of the Community Organisers Expansion Programme.

#VillageHallsWeek: LACE-UP grant enables fantastic programme of free exercise and activity classes at Leigh Park Community Centre
Leigh Park Community Centre has recently launched a free programme of exercise classes for local residents, supported with a grant from LACE-UP an ACRE & Sport England pilot project.
National Charity Action with Communities in Rural England (ACRE) and their 38 member organisations (including Community First) are running a week long campaign to celebrate England’s 10,000 Village Halls.
Community First is delighted that it has been given the opportunity to pursue the acquisition of the Oxenwood Outdoor Education Centre
HRH the Duchess of Cornwall who is Patron of Community First attended the Youth Action Wiltshire annual Carols by Candlelight Service on 14th December 2018 at Malmesbury Abbey.
As part of the Macmillan Cancer Connections project, Alex has spent some time in Salisbury chatting to people about their cancer experience, including at the Salisbury at Salisbury Cancer Support Centre.
Well done to Kerry McKenzie who was recently voted UK Youth Young Person of the year 2018! Kerry was presented with her award by HRH Princess Anne on 13th November 2018.
