Salisbury United Reformed Church benefits from Cleansing Service Group grant.

by | Oct 2, 2016 | Grants and Enterprise, News

Mary Hardwidge, Grants Officer at Community First, recently visited the Salisbury United Reformed Church to celebrate the addition of a new hall floor, which had been funded by a £5,400 grant from The Cleansing Group Ltd, through our Landfill Communities Fund.

Previously, funding has enabled the renovation of the church toilets, painting of the hall, landing, foyer and meeting rooms and the complete update of the hall ceiling and lighting. The new flooring, which improves the function of the church as a community resource, has made the renovations complete.

Rev. Clare Downing, moderator of the Wessex Synod of the URC cut the ribbon and thanked Community First for help in securing the grant.
