Respecting your Privacy
If you have given us your personal details, Community First is legally
bound by the Data Protection Act 1998 to ensure that such information
is only used for the purpose for which it was requested and also to ensure
that the data is held securely.
Like any charity we hold information about our supporters – ranging
from name and address to the details of that support. We use your information
in connection with our charitable activities and fundraising appeals.
We could not work without it.
Your support is very valuable to us and it is absolutely essential that
you should trust us to act responsibly. We fully accept this responsibility
and will do everything we can to prevent it being used in any unauthorised
or unlawful way.
Maintaining up-to-date information is important to our work and to our
relationship with our members and supporters. If your details change,
please email us at smartin@communityfirst.org.uk
or telephone Sheila Martin on 01380 722475. Please remember to tell us
your old details so that we can identify you on our database.
If you have any other questions about how we deal with personal information,
please contact us.
