Small Grants for Village Halls  

• Grants up to, and including, £500 will be awarded through a “fast track” procedure. Applications may be made at any time.
• For the larger grants of between £501 and £1,000, application deadlines will be approximately four weeks prior to the panel meetings to enable mentors to provide the necessary support to applicants and assessment for the Panel. There will be four panel meetings per year.

Fund Criteria
As for Community Grants, with the addition of the following:

• Projects must normally serve a rural community with a population of no more than 10,000 in Wiltshire or Swindon. Exceptionally, projects may be grant aided where the hall is situated in a distinctive rural community within an administrative area of over 10,000.
• The total project cost must be less than £5,000.

Grants will only be awarded for projects in this list:

• professional fees for design
• feasibility studies
• achieving access audit outcomes in line with the Disability Discrimination Act
