In February 2016 Community First and Wiltshire Community Land Trust teamed up to offer resources and a series of free ‘Planning for Communities’ workshops for voluntary and community organisations and local councils. The workshops offered a special opportunity to find out more about shaping the future of local towns and villages in Wiltshire, with a focus on Neighbourhood Development Plans and community led housing. The project was funded by Big Lottery Awards for All.
Bold was comissioned to produce a printed resource pack and ‘Planning for Communities’ brochure for the workshops. Planning is a complex subject and there are many options for local communities to consider. We worked closely with Wiltshire Community Land Trust, Place Studio and Wiltshire Council to summarise the various options available for local communities who want to be involved in the planning process and designed a brochure with a selection of local imagery. The final design was a glossy A5 brochure, printed and stapled for workshop attendees.
Bold also created a selection of branded printed resources for the workshops including an agenda, signage and feedback/follow up forms. You can see a selection of the final printed resources in the gallery above.
