In 2016 the Wiltshire Village Halls Association (WVHA) launched a new profile website for WVHA members created by another agency. As part of the offer to members, WVHA wanted to created a new  forum and members area so village halls and community buildings could access information sheets, resources and funding news.

A key element of the brief was ensuring that the resources library and members homepage was only accessible to members of Wiltshire Village Halls Association. Bold configured a standalone WordPress website and a membership framework with a secure file system which prevented unauthorised access to members only content.

As part of the project WVHA also wanted to create a forum where halls and community buildings could meet in a digital environment and act as a peer support network. Working closely with WVHA, we created and configured the forum including forum topics and forum roles.

As part of the project we created a manual for WVHA members which included step-by-step instructions on how to use the forum and members area. We continue to offer ongoing support to create new forum users, perform website updates and create regular website backups.
