Become an Associate Member of Community First

As a member of ACRE, Community First supports a variety of programmes which benefit local communities. We are passionate about helping people work together to identify and find solutions to things that matter to them. From championing local grassroots causes to managing multi-million pound projects, we are proud to support the vibrant communities we have served for over 50 years. Our members only email bulletin for VSCE organisations includes funding news and updates on funding opportunities locally and nationally, sourced from up to date databases and other sources.

Free Job Postings

A job advertising service for the sector. Members can advertise vacancies for free which will be promoted on our dedicated sector vacancies page on this website.

Featured Volunteering Roles

As a member you can advertise volunteering roles on our dedicated Volunteering page as a ‘featured’ role, maximising visibility and applications. Up to a maximum of 3 roles each year.



Free Volunteer Connect Support

As a member you will also have access to email and telephone support from our Volunteer Coordinator, should you need support with our self-service tool Volunteer Connect.

Promotional Opportunities

Need to get a message out? we can promote on your behalf including on our website, social media and in our newsletter. Members can also advertise in our magazine ‘First News’.

Membership runs from 1st April 2021 – 31st March 2022.

Depending on membership category, Associate Members are entitled to the benefits listed in the tables below. Associate members are invited to attend our Annual General Meeting (AGM) but will not have voting rights.
