Approved plans for Oxenwood Centre

Youth Action Wiltshire Young Carers Service is taking part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge 2025. From midday on 2nd December to midday on 9th December, every donation you make will be match-funded, meaning your gift goes twice as far to support Young Carers in Wiltshire.

A young carer is a child or young person under the age of 18 who helps to look after a family member or loved one with an illness, disability, mental health condition or addiction.  As of the 1st of December 2025, we have 1,629 registered Wiltshire Young Carers, which is the highest figure recorded in our 27 years of service delivery.

Through term-time clubs and holiday programmes, Youth Action Wiltshire Young Carers Services offer free, fun, and inclusive activities such as:

  • Adventure sports
  • Workshops and wellbeing trips
  • Creative arts and music
  • Wildlife and outdoor education activities

Your support will help us continue delivering a wide range of breaks and respite activities, giving Wiltshire Young Carers a chance to have fun, try new things, increase skills and make new friends.

How to Get Involved:

  • Donate between 2–9 December via The Big Give campaign page. Every pound you give will be doubled!
  • Spread the word – share our campaign on social media and encourage friends and family to join in and double the difference of their campaign donations between 2 – 9 December.

Thank you for supporting Young Carers in Wiltshire this Christmas.
