St John’s Church in Lower Bemerton recently opened its doors to celebrate the renovation of the Church. John Glen MP attended to officially launch the improvements. The celebration marks the culmination of years of fundraising and planning to improve access to this building, which provides vital accommodation to many aspects of local community life.

Anne Trevett, project lead for fundraising for the church, has worked tirelessly to raise funds for the project and secured £27,000 from The Cleansing Service Group through our Landfill Communities Fund.

As well as renovation, the works included upgrading the access to the building and the disabled toilet. This will benefit all users of this important community hub.
