Open Evening on 29th January 2025 – Invitation to shape the future of Oxenwood Outdoor Education Centre
Oxenwood Outdoor Education Centre has been a cherished place of growth and discovery for young people over the last 50 years.
It’s where they find solace, build confidence, and gain essential life skills through a diverse range of programmes like Outdoor Adventurer, Bushcraft and Survival, and Discover History. These activities are crafted to inspire, engage, and meet the varied needs of the young people we serve, especially those facing significant challenges.

However, the Centre now finds itself at a pivotal moment.
The facilities are in urgent need of refurbishment to maintain safety and modernity, ensuring Oxenwood remains a welcoming and supportive environment for future generations.
We envision a revitalised space where all young people, regardless of background or life situation, can connect with nature and nurture skills in environmental stewardship, resilience, and adventure.
As we look to preserve and enhance this special place, we’d love to hear your thoughts on our plans.
We invite you to join us at our open evening on 29th January 2025 (5.30-7pm) at Oxenwood Outdoor Education Centre (SN8 3NQ), to discuss our vision for Oxenwood’s future and how we can work together to secure it.
We would also welcome comments on our proposed plans (please see below for individual images or download the PDF document) by email: info@oxenwood.org.uk
